At Remembrance Headstones, we understand the importance of your memorial purchase. Due to the custom nature of our products, our return and refund policies differ from standard retail. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

2. Custom and Personalized Products

All memorial products, including headstones, grave markers, and bronze plaques, are custom-made to your specific design and inscription requirements. Because each product is uniquely crafted:

  • Custom orders cannot be returned once production has begun
  • Design changes after production approval may incur additional charges
  • We provide detailed 3D previews for your approval before production to ensure accuracy
  • Please carefully review all inscriptions, dates, and design elements before approving

3. Order Cancellations

Order cancellation policies depend on the stage of your order:

  • Before design approval: Full refund of any deposit paid
  • After design approval, before production: Deposit may be refunded minus design fees
  • After production has begun: No refund is available as materials have been cut and customized

4. Damaged or Defective Products

If your memorial product arrives damaged or does not match the approved design:

  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery or installation
  • Provide photographs clearly showing the damage or discrepancy
  • We will inspect the issue and provide a resolution within 5 business days
  • Options may include repair, replacement, or partial refund at our discretion
  • Natural stone variations in color and pattern are not considered defects

5. Inscription Errors

We take great care to ensure inscription accuracy:

  • Errors on our part: If we make an error that differs from the approved design, we will correct or replace the memorial at no cost
  • Errors in approved design: If the inscription matches the approved design but contains an error you provided, corrections will be at the customer's expense
  • We strongly encourage thorough review of all proofs before approval

6. Refund Process

When a refund is approved:

  • Refunds are processed to the original payment method
  • Credit card refunds typically appear within 7-10 business days
  • Bank transfer refunds may take up to 15 business days
  • Financing refunds (Klarna) will be coordinated with the financing provider
  • You will receive email confirmation when your refund is processed

7. Warranty Claims

Our memorial products come with a lifetime warranty covering defects in materials and craftsmanship. Warranty claims are separate from returns and refunds:

  • Contact us to file a warranty claim at any time
  • Provide photographs and a description of the issue
  • Warranty does not cover damage from natural disasters, vandalism, or neglect

8. Delivery Issues

If there are issues with the delivery or installation of your memorial:

  • Contact us immediately if the delivery is late or does not arrive
  • We coordinate directly with cemeteries and will resolve scheduling issues
  • If installation reveals a product issue, we will address it promptly
  • Weather-related delays are not grounds for cancellation or refund
